Alternate Dispute Resolution

Alternate Dispute Resolution

In the current times when the judicial forums are highly burdened with cases, resorting to litigation and court proceedings can turn out to be a rather time consuming and expensive proposition. Considering this, it is apposite that the legal disputes be settled by keeping them outside the purview of the Courts as often as possible, by opting for Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanisms. We have an extensive practice across one all areas of Alternate Dispute Resolution techniques, including Arbitration, Conciliation, Mediation and Negotiation. We actively participate on behalf of our clients in proceedings arising out of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and have ample experience in having participation in proceedings concerning dispute resolution through this means. A major chunk of disputes such as matrimonial disputes, which are referred to us, are subjected to ADR techniques. We also have an active involvement in Court proceedings (such as the ones for appointment of an Arbitrator or for interim measures by Courts) which arise out of the Arbitration Act.
